‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ the latest movie to enter 100-crore club

This is the first Karan Johar movie to enter the club, after a controversial release.

After already garnering Rs. 200 crore globally, the latest movie from Karan Johar, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has entered the Rs. 100 crore club in India. The movie that was bound by controversies before its release and whose release was once not expected to happen, finally came in at the same time as Shivaay from Ajay Devgn did.

The movie stars big names including Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Anushka Sharma. The romantic flick is said to have got over Rs. 102 crore in India so far. The producer and even the cast has took on to Twitter to announce their happiness over this milestone.

Karan Johar and Anushka Sharma tweeted the following to express their happiness.

This is the first ever film for Karan Johar to enter this earning club of Rs. 100 crore and the same is the case for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The only actor in the movie, Ranbir Kapoor has been a part of two movies already that had entered this club, i.e. Barfi and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.

Anushka Sharma has been deservingly getting some great roles with the biggest stars in Bollywood, and with Salman Khan, she had worked in Sultan, which was another flick this year to enter the Rs. 100 crore club.

Before the release, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil was in controversy for the inclusion of a Pakistan actor while the Producers Association in India had taken a stand against having Pakistani actors in their movies. Karan Johar had his stand against this move.
